The blogging break I took for the past several days was just what I needed! I've managed to make quite a bit of progress in catching up on things. It is good to be back, though!
This is quite a fun week around our house. We had a great family celebration for my birthday. The girls and Phil got up early to decorate the house (balloons, streamers, the works) and then they woke me up and sang happy birthday. They were so excited!! I opened my gifts at 7:00 a.m. because the girls couldn't stand to wait any longer! E called me "Birthday Girl" all day, and when she woke up the next morning she asked if it was still my birthday. She was rather disappointed to find out it was over.
The other big celebration around our house this week is our anniversary! Nine years!! My parents will be coming to visit this weekend, and Phil and I will go on an anniversary date then (and also celebrate my birthday again)!
I'm really looking forward to BlogHop09, which starts tonight at 9:00 CST! It should be a great way to meet other bloggers and discover new blogs!!
