After trying many different bath products, lotions, and sunscreens, we have finally found a line of products that works for our children's sensitive skin! This is no small thing, I can tell you, and I just have to share this with you!
A few months ago, we thought we had found a solution using Aveeno products. Unfortunately, when the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics released their report on carcinogens in baby bath products (read about it here), we found our Aveeno bath soap was on the list. We began our quest anew to find products that were both safe and non-irritating.
And the winner is....California Baby Super Sensitive products! The entire line of Super Sensitive products is fragrance free and suitable for "babies, kids, and sensitive adults". We are now using their Super Sensitive Shampoo/Body Wash and their Super Sensitive Conditioner for both of our girls at bathtime, and they are great!
We recently decided to try their No Fragrance SPF 30+ Sunscreen Lotion. Prior to that, we had tried in vain to find a sunscreen that was non-irritating and waterproof. I am so glad to report that this sunscreen from California Baby fulfills both requirements. At first I balked at the price ($19.99 for 2.9 ounces, or $17.99 if you can find it at Target). After trying so many others that did not work for us, we decided it was worth a try. I am so glad we did. It is exactly what we were looking for, and worth every penny to us!
You can find California Baby's products at Target and Whole Foods, or go to their website to buy directly or find stores that sell their products. Both the Shampoo/Body Wash and Conditioner cost around $9.99-11.99 each (for 8.5 ounces), depending on where you purchase them, but again it is worth it for little ones with sensitive skin! If you prefer products with fragrance, they also have many scented products that are still natural and safe.
I was not contacted or compensated by California Baby in any way...I'm just sharing our great experience with these products. They definitely work for us!

Good to know...we have a whole lot of sensitivities in our household!
:)
Do you find the sunscreen greasy and heavy on your face? I'm still on a quest for something that doesn't make me feel like I'm covered in a thick layer of goo!
