100th Post Celebration!

Welcome to Closing Time's 100th post! Last week I was feeling quite overwhelmed at the prospect of doing this post. How on earth could I come up with 100 things about me, or something along those lines? I asked for advice from my readers, and you came through!

My favorite idea was to turn this into a MckLinky celebration that you can take part in too! Thanks so much to Stacey from Tree, Root, and Twig for giving me this idea!! So once you've read my post, please link up your 100th post, or your list of 100 things about you. If you don't have one of those, then feel free to get creative! You can post a photo of 100 things, page 100 of a book your are reading, or whatever you can think of, and then link up below! I am really looking forward to visiting all of your posts!

In honor of this post, M & E built a robot out of 100 Mega Bloks. Here he is!

As I said, I was overwhelmed at the thought of listing 100 things about me. Terri Lynne from Pleasing to You gave me the idea of dividing the list into categories. I thought this was a great idea too! In the end I had a hard time thinking of enough categories, I did a combination of random and categories. So here I go...

100 Things About Me

The Basics

1. I am 32 years old.

2. I am married to an amazing man named Phil.

3. He is from Australia.

4. We have been married for 9 years.

5. We have two little girls, ages 5 and 3.

6. I love Jesus with all my heart.

7. I am a new blogger...just started in March.

The Random

16. I tend to over-analyze most things.

17. I am really not gifted at sports.

18. I would rather read a book, or watch a movie, or blog.

19. In elementary school, I was usually the next to last picked for teams

20. I am okay with that now. :)

21. I don't mind doing laundry, but I hate folding and putting it away.

22. There are usually numerous piles of clean laundry waiting for me.

27. I like my coffee STRONG.

28. I have a strong aversion to fruitcake.

29. I also do not like my raisins mixed in other foods. Raisins alone are fine, but please do not
put them into muffins or cookies or the like.

31. I am homeschooling them.

32. I never thought I would homeschool my kids.

38. They think that the "pizza Mommy makes" is the best kind. (They mean frozen pizza.)

39. I do actually make homemade pizza from time to time. They like that too.

40. The girls really want a puppy, as long as we can get one that would never lick them.

41. We have no plans to get a puppy anytime soon.

42. My favorite kinds of ice cream are chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip.

45. For now, I grow herbs in pots on our deck.

46. I love windows and sunlight.

47. I also love dreary, rainy days.

reheated “real” pizza from yesterday.

50. I have never looked back.

51. I always want to improve things.
